TULUM BACH ITINERARY

Looks like you came to the right place! We are going to take you through the ultimate guide to curating a luxurious and adventurous bachelorette weekend in Tulum. We will cover everything from exclusive nightclubs, evenings with private chefs crafting culinary masterpieces, photoshoots on the beach, and soooo much more!
First things first, let’s figure out how you’re actually going to get to Tulum. As of recently, the only airport remotely close to Tulum was Cancun International Airport (CUN), however travel to Tulum just got a lot less complicated! A brand new international airport, Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum Felipe Carrillo Puerto (TQO), opened it’s gates to the public in December 2023. This airport is located only roughly 40 km away from downtown Tulum, which is slightly less than one full Power Hour on your party bus - so pop that champagne ASAP!
TRANSPORTATION
Trust us when we say you do NOT want to just wing it and grab a taxi when you arrive at the airport. Especially at TQO, there aren’t many taxis available since it still a very new airport. Lucky for you, we have some amazing vendors that will pick you up as soon as you pass through customs to take you to your oasis!
Allow us to introduce you to some of our favorite transporation companies we work with when planning bachelorette weekends in Tulum. In no particular order, first on our list is Serendipidy Experiences. Their experienced drivers will pick you up in one of their luxury vehicles, which includes everything from bluetooth speakers and air conditioning to seltzers and champagne to start the celebration, as soon as you touchdown!
Another trusted transportation company we love incorporating into our bachelorette weekends is Go Tulum Travel. They can take you anywhere you want to go, including airport (Tulum and Cancun airports) transfers, marina transfers, and even have a VIP premium black car option for those of you who want to ball out!
ACCOMODATIONS
Now that we have transportation covered, let’s talk about the most important part…..villa life. Where you stay in Tulum can impact your weekend more than you know! Whether you are in the Hotel Zone or are staying downtown, it’s important to know that later at night, the traffic to go into town or even to the hotel zone where majority of the best nightclubs, restaurants, etc. are located, is very very heavy. This is where what you want to get out of your bachelorette weekend comes into play. If you want your bachelorette to be centered around all the best restaurants and epic nightclub life, the hotel zone is where you want to stay.
One of our favorite places to stay in Tulum is Amansala Yoga & Wellness Resort. Amansala offers relaxed, eco-chic accommodations like no other boutique hotel in Tulum. Rightfully so, they are known as one of the most iconic hotels in Tulum, surrounded by white sand, palm trees, and turquoise water. Their village-like neighborhood consists of two properties, Grande and Chica, with Amansala’s signature Eco Chic Style, within a few minutes of each other and comprising various rooms and cabanas. For all our wellness loving brides, there is a daily activity schedule filled with yoga classes, pilates classes, and even some guided meditation! After your workout, grab a bite to eat at their restaurant where they serve some of the freshest food in Tulum!
Some of our honorable mentions for accommodations are Azulik, Dreams Tulum, Conrad Tulum, Ahau Tulum, KAN Tulum and of course Secrets Tulum Resort.
If you want your bachelorette to be low key and more of a “stay-cation”, we highly recommend staying out of the hotel zone and downtown and head up north towards the little town, Akumal. Akumal is a picturesque beach destination known for its stunning turquoise waters and vibrant marine life. It’s most famous for its snorkeling spots, where visitors can swim alongside sea turtles in the bay! The laid-back atmosphere, lush surroundings, and beautiful coral reefs make Akumal a perfect bach destination for brides seeking both adventure and relaxation. Akumal also has some of the cutest local shops and restaurants with authentic Mexican culture. Stay in a piece of paradise on the Riviera Maya in one of their many villas, including one of our favorites, Casa Milah.
Pro Tip: At Casa Milah, they work directly with a third party travel agency to make sure your is stocked with all the groceries (yes, alcohol included) before you arrive!
FOR THE FOODIE
So you finally made it to Tulum, you’ve just arrived to your stunning villa, and you’re thinking “Well Bach to Basic, now what are we suppose to do??”. Majority of the villas in Tulum offer different services, one of those being a private chef. If your villa doesn’t include one, don’t freak out! Our friend, Chef Matteo, will solve all your problems. His services cover from a private in house chef to large event catering with the capacity of fulfilling all types of tastes and diets. Him and his team will prepare tasty dishes with only fresh ingredients, serve you, and even clean up so you can relax and catch up with your favorite people. So grab a drink, play a game or two, and get use to living the lux life!!
If you are planning your bachelorette weekend in tulum, we’re assuming you did at least a little bit of research yourself, and chances are you came across the infamous Rosa Negra. This tribute to Latin American culture is one like no other! Between the sparkler dance parties on top of tables and the bars, this restaurant is where the soul, passion, and flavor of Latin America come to life in an atmosphere of joy and celebration. Make sure you make a reservation in advance, as they book up very fast!!
Kin Toh Tulum
If you want the ultimate jungle dining experience, we highly recommend popping over to Azulik’s Mayan-Mexican fusion restaurant, Kin Toh! Soar above the mayan jungle, to the top of the trees in one of their nests, that will quite literally put you on cloud nine. Enjoy a cozy and chic ambience while enjoying their unique gastronomy.
Okay so we’ve covered the best places to grab dinner, but we know every bachelorette weekend needs a boozy brunch (girl code)! Bagatelle is one of the best, if not THE best spots to grab a French Mediterranean brunch with the girl. Located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, they serve everything from omelets to raviolis to tuna tartare! Order one of their signature cocktails (or mocktails!) from their long list of drinks they have on their menu and get ready for another day in paradise!
FOR THE ADVENTURER
It’s an unspoken rule that when you got to Mexico, you HAVE to go on a yacht. One of our favorite vendors to use when booking yachts for our parties is Boatsetter! Boatsetter is an online platform that comprises over 50,000 boat listings. It connects boat owners, renters, and captains across 700 distinct locations, spanning the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, and the United States. You can think of it as the Airbnb of the water!
If water isn’t your thing, we have something for our land-lovers too! You can't visit Tulum without checking out some of the archaeological sites that point to the area being one of the last Mayan cities in the world! Tulum Riviera Maya Tours has a ton of different activities from Tulum Ruins tours to ATV tours throughout the jungles of Tulum!
For our adrenaline junkies and history buffs, Aventuras Mayas is just the thing you’re looking for! History, culture and adventure can all be found in one Riviera Maya tour! Get ready to explore the seaside archeological site of Tulum National Park, located on a cliff overlooking the crystal blue waters. After the tour of the National Park, they will take you deep into the mayan jungle where you will experience speedy ziplines over the jungle canopy. After your zipline, hop into the gorgeous underground cenote for a refreshing swim. Oh did we mention round-trip transportation and lunch were included??
If your ideal bachelorette includes DJs, bottle service, sand, and vibing with your girls by the ocean, beach clubs are where you want to be during the day! One of the best beach clubs Tulum has to offer is located in the hotel zone at Taboo Beach Club. Not only do they have amazing sushi, tacos, and drinks, but their atmosphere and decor is TOP. TIER.
One thing about Taboo is that they’re going to give you your money’s worth when you book a cabana with them. They will wait on your hand and food and always make sure your glass is full. Their staff is so interactive with the guests and making sure you have the time of your life. The party at Taboo is never-ending so buckle up and make sure you stay hydrated (if ya know what we mean!).
FOR THE NIGHT OWLS
As the sun dips below the horizon, the vibrant energy of Tulum comes alive! As you stroll down the streets, sounds music will be spilling from the open-air clubs, each one offering its own unique vibe. Whether you are a dance on the table type of bride, or a live music and chill type of bride, Tulum nightlife scene has something to offer for everyone!
Most of the clubs that you probably heard of are actually not located downtown in Tulum, but rather near the ocean in the hotel zone. Some of the most popular clubs we recommend for our parties are:
Gitano - Gitano’s Jungle Room is famous for it’s mezcal cocktails and bohemian vibes (with allll the disco balls)! The Gitano Jungle Room is the place to be on a Saturday night.
Casa Jaguar - Their saying is “No Menu, No Rules” - now that’s our kind of bar! This is the place to be on Thursday nights with their famous Jungle Parties in the back of the venue! They have artists from all around the world come to play at their venue. They are known for their music events and keeping the essence of old Tulum alive. If you just so happen to be there on Tuesdays, their Todos Santos after dinner party turns into a cocktail party under the stars!
Vagalume Tulum - When the music aligns with Vagalume’s vibe, everything elevates! A sanctuary of beats and ambiance, this night club ignites the night with its fusion of music and mystique. Be ready for an immersive journey into music's depths within this captivating space.
Bonbonniere - Follow the red light! Bonbonniere is know for their high-level nightlife, offering bottle service, DJs and luxurious shows creating a unique and one-of-a-kind nightlife experience.
