At Home Parties: The Importance of Location!
For starters, know your bride/groom’s interest! When planning a bachelor/bachelorette party, your squad’s initial thoughts revolve around the activities or adventures you’ll be doing throughout the weekend. If you’re planning on staying local, get creative! A fun location can even be one of the party goer’s own homes. The likelihood that your bride/groom has already partied in that particular house is potentially high, so take this opportunity to go above and beyond and include all of the little details that make it special to him or her. If possible, try and push the party to a guest’s house who has a pool, is close to a body of water, near a park, or any place outdoors that you know your bride/groom enjoys. This great alternative allows your party to mimic the adventures of traveling (and have both indoor and outdoor space) while simultaneously motivating you to plan an epic day, night or weekend based off of your newly selected location!
